Established in 2009, Empire defined a generation with it’s city style and innovative products that continue to resonate with tastemakers, professional riders and younger generations. Skatecore became a phenomenon in the ’90s. The clothing is practical, loose, and comfortable, does not restrict skateboarders, and offers some protection. The aesthetic can be described as casual and carefree, but there is also an anti-establishment movement in opposition to the conventional social, political, and economic principles of a society.
