Pathos Summer Event Posters

We chose the neo funk aesthetic to match the essence of Pathos Lounge and evoke engagement throughout its social channels. This neo funk dimension suits perfectly the freshness of today combined with the ages of nostalgia. It somehow creates an open dialogue between our past and our present.

This is the dimension used for Pathos Lounge to revive our enthusiasm and live again in the moment!Funk always represented  joy, energetic dancing, expression and unconventional style. In its remastered version it becomes more current than ever incorporating electro elements and joining two different eras (the 60s and the new 20s) together.

Various styles were used for the posters to match the style of every artist and performer. Some of them were round and minimalistic while others were more curvy and graceful.

The texts blend beautifully with the design passing the message on without undermining the elegance of the graphics.

The moodboard used focuses on colorful gradients highlighting the neo funk aesthetic. We used big lettering when possible to mirror the artful designs of old fashioned posters, yet keeping it modern with a bit of futuristic flair.

At the same time, we held the main figure of each event illuminated in the centre of our canvas and gave them colourful reflections when this would make sense.
